As Im sittin there watchin the game, I just saw my top WR get carted off the feild. I live in the Detroit Area and havent heard anything on it. I thought I was done because my other WR's were Clayton and Burress (but Burress took Williams numbers for me, thank God).........but Det plays GB this week and theyre D is like their cheeze, swiss that is...........well its close enough............

AP wrote:ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -- Detroit Lions wide receiver Roy Williams may be available for the team's game next Sunday with Green Bay.

The rookie is day to day after spraining his left ankle in Sunday's 17-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Williams had an ultrasound Monday morning, which showed the injury was not a high ankle sprain. He will be evaluated again Wednesday.

Doesnt sound too serious - thank goodness.

Whew....I would have been in real trouble if Williams had to miss any time.

when did the injury occur? in the 3rd quarter right? how many catches did he have up til then? 3 for 18 yds or something like that. Hate to say this, but the opposition may be figuring out the Harrington to Williams trend.

All I can say is.... :-°

With some of the busts I drafted thus far, this guy has helped level it off with his stud performances.
