Just a curious question...especially after several weeks of bad performances from so-called, highly drafted studs...When do you remove the label of STUD and call these dudes mediocre or DUDS? For example, Portis has rushed for about 3 yds per carry (excluding that long TD run in wk 1)...Ahman has had 3 fumbles in the past 4 weeks and no TDs.....Travis Henry has yet to see a TD...Torry Holt and Marvin Harrison are being outperformed by their fellow WRs (wayne,stokeley,bruce)....santana moss has yet to have a TD....and the list goes on and on.....
i know what you mean..i own holt and bruce and have benched bruce every week, and every week bruce has been the man. next week, bruce get the start and holt gets the bench. 5 weeks is enough proof for me.
It's tough to be patient with them. Keep in mind that players like Holt are now being double teamed due to their production last year. Hence Isaac Bruce's big numbers so far. For players in this situation, I say give it a few more weeks. Teams are going to have to start playing their counterparts honest.
i just wanted to comment that i traded a subpar marvin harrison at the end of week 4 last year for garrison hearst and i think that is enough to say about dont give away the farm for nothing. i know that none of you talked about trading but i just wanted to say to never sell low on a STUD even if he is sucking

They may only start 2 WRs, in which case it would be hard to bench Ward.
I think the key is that you can start benching them but do not trade them yet (as mentioned by tmandpimp) unless you get a solid deal which is unlikely.
EDIT: This is the part of the season that I go into high gear. Buy every stud that is underperforming that you can afford.
