Very low risk/cost - high reward potential. This is part of what being a ff gm is about.

It's a low risk - no reward potential.

He cannot play this year.

I concur with the HUH??? Blood Oath of Krum?

I would put some money on it, but I know you'd back out when it was time to pay me.

Unless you're a member of the NFL administration, I'll still take my flier ;-7

And would I bet money on Ricky? THAT is funny. :-b

I certainly agree by the letter of the nfl laws, there's no chance; he has the 4 games + one year via the automatic violoation. But once you get lawyers + player unions involved, stranger things have happened.

The real news here is that it looks like sir-smokes-a-lot is actually trying to play this year(or at least to not have to pay the phins). The ball is now officially in motion...

I wouldn't bet money on either. There's also doubt that Ricky can get back into game-shape in time. But I also think the NFL will do what is best for the T.V. ratings and allowing Ricky to return is money in their pocket. So that's why I'll take a flier. If there was something of real value on the WW I'd take that instead but there isn't. Like I said it can't hurt.

Didn't Ricky lose something like 20+ pounds so far?

I don't think he could do much in that case...
