I'm with Mass on visiting different team forums,I do that often...not just during the season either. It's a great way to get info from that team's fans, many of whom live in the team's city.

Incidentally, if you thought that was well-written, wait till you see DD's first Point of View article of the season, coming this very weekend... :-)

What is the best free fantasy site? ;-D

Yeah, I get irrataded by sites that have some of their stuff available and then want you to pay for the extras (ESPN for one). Anyway, the two all free sites that I like to read are http://www.fftoolbox.com, and http://www.footballdocs.com
Like the other guys said, footballguys have a lot of free stuff preseason, so get it while you can. All of these places have articles, rankings, ... Pretty mch the stuff you need. the #1 place to go hands down for mock drafts is Antsports (like the other guy said).

Yep. That's my pick. And under $20 before August 1.

Well, I don't think it's under $20 because the early bird special has ended, but I would have you take a look at draftsharks.com. They have a couple of articles to preview, and I think their content is quite good. Maybe just a little bit better than Guttpuppy here. For free site, no question:

Lots of good info on this post. I have to agree with "guest"---I hate the part free and part pay....the college football page on ESPN was nothing but pay the other day....what the?!

Regarding best free sites, there are a few I regularly visit, each with their own contributions:

Forums:
http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com (no doubt)
http://www.footballguys.net (good but extremely busy)

Projections and Rankings:
http://www.footballdocs.com
http://www.fftoday.com
http://www.footballguys.com (until Aug. 1)

Mock Drafts:
http://www.antsports.com

NFL News Updates:
http://www.profantasysports.com
http://www.fanball.com

I could never see myself "paying" for the same information I can just find at the above sites . Just my take and wanted to throw in my two cents on this one.

Good post Juke,

Don't forget to add http://www.theredzone.org to that list of up dates.

(Not .com, or else you may get more than you bagained for.)
