Culpepper's ridiculous value!!

Postby k68 » Wed Oct 13, 2004 9:20 pm

In my $ league, I just got offered Michael Vick, Tom Brady, Marshall Faulk, and Fred Taylor for Culpepper. I don't need these guys so I rejected it but got a kick out of this offer. I have always been a RB/RB guy on draft night(traded for Pepp) but damn if this guy isn't making me rethink that from now on. So if your struggling even w/ Culpepper as your QB and are wondering what he's worth on the market - the answer is ALOT.

That's why he's the #1 fantasy QB.

I still think Manning will end up with better stats than Culpepper.

Manning could throw for 400 yards a game if he didn't have to give the rock to Edge once in a while.

If the Colts never gave the ball to their RB, defenses would obviously be able to realize that and Manning would be lucky to throw for 40 yards in a game, much less 400. But since that will never happen, it's irrelevant.

Culpepper is the #1 fantasy QB, and he's a proud Angry Gopher in the MIKL. ;-D

Eh, I played the guy with Culpepper this week and even with his insane week I beat him. My QB was Carr, who nearly kept up and I got off the WW.

At every other position, he was one round behind.

I fully appreciate and understand the immense value of Edge and the running game to the Colts' incredible offense. I was kinda joking with my previous post.

My point is, Manning is the best pure passer in the game and, if he were required to emphasize his passing skills more, he would throw for more yards and TDs than Culpepper. He still might do it this season anyway.

I'm not a season ticket holder, but my friends and I have tickets for that game.

I expect the Colts to win 52-49. It will be the best MNF game this season.
