Wheatley..what's the scoop Raider Nation?

I know he's out with the shoulder injury but what is everyone hearing? Is he the main guy once he comes back? Famous Amos seems like a 3rd down back & Fargas is always nicked up.

Norv Turner seems to not like Amos at all. He would have preferred to start a banged up Fargas, but Fargas was too banged up to even play more than one carry.

Turner loves the power rushing game which Amos cannot provide him. I would assume once Wheatly comes back, the job will be his

Wheatley showed up in practice yesterday in full pads...

It looks possible to me that Fargas could get the starting nod in the next couple of weeks provided that Wheatley heals slowly. I just hope that they don't go with RBBC, which is certainly a possibility.

Fargas was in for one play (albeit a TD) and then had a pretty bad limp walking off the field again. I don't think he's ready to play much yet. It's not that Turner doesn't like Amos, it's just that he favors the big, north-south type of RB in his offense.

Right now I'm thinking Wheatley might be a decent sleeper, bye week fill in guy for me. Norv Turner seems to like his RB's big.

Oakland is fast becoming a fantasy football wasteland- Norv or not, Wheatley starting or not- this team will go only as far as Collins can turnover the ball.

You're better off with a Brock Forsey, Emmitt Smith, Artose Pinner pickup than anything the proud Raider Nation has to offer at this stage. Even Jerry Rice wants out for goodness sakes.
