I am 5-0, and the team I play this week isn't very good. So hopefully I can notch up another one.

3 reasons why? Hmm...

1) FA acquisitions...going from Anthony Thomas to Suggs as a 4th back

2) Peyton and Priest having solid yrs.

3) Favorable early schedule, it gets much more difficult down the stretch.

Will need much more production from my #2 back, and WRs to keep it up.

i'm 5-0 in a 14 team league. it was a blind bidded draft so draft position had nothing to do with it. we have contracts from 1 to 5 years and IDP's. i went with a balanced approach while others were bidding high on most rb's and moss and qb's. i put c brown up for bid just before george's deadline as was able to get him at 1/3 the price of most top rb's 1/4 of the highest! we are able to use different options of starting lineups. like 2rb,2wr,1te or 3rb,2te or 1rb,4wr. i have a deep, well balanced team and am able to play matchups to the max. if my best matchups are 4 wr's i can do that. 3rb's? i can do that too. it helps having e johnson as a te for my 3rb 2 te set too.
so 3 reasons?
1) balanced team
2) was patient with bidding in draft
3)the cafe has helped getting me the best matchups week to week!!

5-0 in my 12 team money league because:

-2 stud RBs - LT2 (1:1) and Chris Brown (3:1).

-Selecting Brooks and Lefty. They were the 12th and 17th QBs taken in our draft. Our league allows you to start a QB at Flex so a lot went early. (there also are no starting QBs on our WW now, including Rosenfelds. lol)

-Picking up Eric Johnson after week 1 off the WW.

-No bye weeks for my starters yet. Well, at least I'm honest.

-No major injuries yet. Again, I'm honest and I'm still rubbing that rabbit's foot.

Every week my team puts up enough points to give me a shot at winning. When one starter doesn't perform up to par, it seems like someone else steps it up.

5-0 8th pick in a 8 man league I drafted Ahman and Lewis with first two picks. Got McNabb and Terrell in my next two pick. Who'd think it would be those two really producing. I got Andre Johnson pretty late. Grabbed Shockey and Heap when they were dropped so thats helped alittle as well.

QB D. McNabb (Phi - QB)
WR T. Owens (Phi - WR)
WR An. Johnson (Hou - WR)
RB A. Green (GB - RB)
RB J. Lewis (Bal - RB)
TE J. Shockey (NYG - TE)
BN S. Davis (Car - RB)
BN C. Pennington (NYJ - QB)
BN J. Porter (Oak - WR)
BN M. Bennett (Min - RB)
BN T. HeapDTD (Bal - TE)
