With Vick struggling I've been playing Bulger each week. However, this week Vick (at home) faces SD. A Chargers pass defense (ranked 30th) that has struggled all season and allowed Byron Leftwich to throw for 357 yds last week. If this over hyped clown can't put up some #s this week. He prob. won't for the rest of the year. This week Buler faces a strong TB D and rumor has it he's prob with a bad shoulder.
i am in the same dilema,,,i just picked up carr and was gonna start him after having vick screw me the whole season but one game,,,i just have this feeling hes over all the media * talkin on him,,,i'm sure people at nike arent too happy with there investment,,and to top it all off hes going against tomilson for the first time,,,something tells me Vick is gonna * up,,,so call me stupid,,,but i am benching carr for vick!
I know he's struggling in his new system but, if he can't have a decent game with all of these motivating factors: The Tomlinson thing, he's at home on turf, SD's pass D sks etc. It's not going to get any easier. I'm not saying I know what's it's like to be a starting NFL QB (I did stay at a Holiday inn once) but is decent game out of the question?
The Chargers have been shutting down the run however, and Vick never has shown the ability to throw the ball well. Topping 300 yards would be a miracle for him unless the Chargers stop playing at their current level, which would nearly entirely stall the Atlanta offense that got shut down by Arizona.
