And it's great!

Went from paying $35/month for local with no features (no call waiting, no caller ID, no voice mail), plus another $40/month for long distance......to paying $30/month for all the features plus unlimited long distance.

If you haven't looked into it I highly advise it.

Actually I went with AT&T. Didn't get to keep my old number, but in some cases you can.

Essentially it is using your broadband internet connection as your phone line instead of using phone lines.
