Latest i have seen.
Oct 16 Things are looking a little better for Stephen Davis. The Panthers' running back practiced for the third consecutive day on Friday and is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Eagles, according to ESPN's John Clayton. He is still listed as questionable. Davis had surgery to clean out torn cartilage from his right knee on September 17.
Views: Davis was optimistic about playing last week, but wound up watching from the sidelines. Now that DeShaun Foster is out, the Panthers really need him back. A final answer on his status is not expected until Sunday. If Davis is unable to play, look for Nick Goings and Joey Harris to take turns getting nowhere against the Eagles.
