Timmy Chang is not very big and is thought to be a product of the Hawaii system. He is pretty erratic and hasn't really proven that he can throw the ball except from the shotgun.

I think he could be a decent backup somewhere but I wouldn't expect much out of him for his career.

Am I missing your lists in POV or somewhere else? I also like your lists as I don't follow college ball as much as I should (but that will change since since I'm playing in a dynasty league now). What are your thoughts on Alex Smith (QB not TE). Is he a #1 guy like Kiper says? It does surprise me that he has Brown falling so far below Benson and Cadillac but I understand that teams tend not to spend high draft picks on RBs these days and for good reason. Thanx.

nor would I. But in an NFL where backups can range from Tim Hasslebeck to Jeff Blake (don't tell me he's a good backup, because its just not true. And now he gets a NFC Championship ring...) to Chris Chandler (Sr. 6), Chang can at least be a solid backup prospect.

Did I miss an update on your rankings somewhere? With Leinart returning to USC your rankings should reflect that.

These are really old, if you look in the Point of View section there should be a mock up soon.

I might make a mock too... I just don't know if I'll post it. May not be as coveted as the fabled "Cheesehead Mock," but I've been obsessive with the draft for a month or so now... (that tends to happen when your team sucks...).

After viewing that recent SI.com article on Timmy Chang, I did a search on his name and this was a thread I found. Notice that Cheesehead's rankings are from Sun Oct 17, 2004.

Sorry to cause the confusion!
