How come 2 days = 3-4 days to Yahoo FF ?

If a trade was accepted on Thursday, and today is Saturday, how come it is still pending? I need it to go thru today, because it is a 2-for-1 and I need the roster spot to pick up a player for a bye week fill-in. Just how many days does 2 days equal to Yahoo fantasy football ... 3, 4, 5 days?

When a trade is accepted Thursday it considers Friday as day one and Saturday as day two, so Sunday morning you will see your lineup.

Don't ask me why, it just does.

Yahoo never recognizes the day the trade was actually accepted. They start counting at the first midnight after the trade was accepted. If the trade was accepted on Thursday, Yahoo will recognize Friday & Saturday as your 2 day waiting period. Sunday at 12 am is when your trade becomes official.

That is why, as commish of my league, there is only a 1 day waiting period on trades and WW material. Because Yahoo is like a dog... a year to us is 7 to them.

you might also want to check to see if someone is disputing the trade. I have seen guys do that just to screw an opponent, since it adds several more days to the waiting period.

Disregarding veto's, when you make a trade doesn't it tell you when it will reflect your lineup? As long as it's the week of the game you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, you should get the player tonight around 5 AM EDT.

However, if for some reason it doesn't go through and you are in a league with a commissioner, you could ask him to waive the trade time so that you can have him for this week (since you should).
