What kind of numbers will he put up this week with Moss now ruled out?
I'm thinking about picking him up of the WW but need to drop either the Jets or Lions D, which one. Post your and I'll answer

I agree i think Chrebet wont do much what has Santana done this season barely anything so what gives you the idea that his back up will do better than him. I hope you have better WR options.

help mine?

i think he has potential for a big game, because the heavy pressure will be on mccareins (and the #1 DB) leaving chrebet with the better matchup. i still wouldnt count on it though, seeing as he isnt a great WR

Santana Moss and Wayne Chrebet are performing quite comparably (not much). Santana Moss has 11 receptions for 231 yards and Wayne Chrebet has 13 receptions for 159 yards (Justin McCareins has 10 receptions for 121 yards - none have TDs).

Santana Moss
Week 1: 4 receptions, 55 yards, 0 TDs, 7 Targets
Week 2: 4 receptions, 97 yards, 0 TDs, 5 Targets
BYE WEEK
Week 4: 1 reception, 17 yards, 0 TDs, 1 Target
Week 5: 2 receptions, 62 yards, 0 TDs, 6 Targets

Wayne Chrebet
Week 1: 2 receptions, 21 yards, 0 TDs, 2 Targets
Week 2: 0 receptions, 0 yards, 0 TDs, 0 Targets
BYE WEEK
Week 4: 3 receptions, 48 yards, 0 TDs, 5 Targets
Week 5: 8 receptions, 90 yards, 0 TDs, 8 Targets

Justin McCareins
Week 1: 5 receptions, 66 yards, 0 TDs, 7 Targets
Week 2: 2 receptions, 9 yards, 0 TDs, 3 Targets
BYE WEEK
Week 4: 1 reception, 14 yards, 0 TDs, 2 Targets
Week 5: 2 receptions, 32 yards, 0 TDs, 4 Targets

If there's nothing else available, Chrebet might be worth as much a shot as any other scrub. I think he could do fine as a bye-week filler - although you could probably find better options, methinks.

With Santana Moss apparently being held out this week with a hamstring injury, I think Chrebet's stock goes up considerably for this week @home against the Niner's. Chrebet is a top notch bye week filler for this week IMO, I think he has a realistic shot at putting up 100/1 or more.

I would go so far as to say I would start every possible Jet's receiver you can. Chrebet, McCarreins, Baker, maybe even Carter/Cotchery all have a decent chance at scoring this week. The Niner's secondary is extremely suspect and I have a feeling this game is going to be a shootout.

agreed he has sure hands but i think he is a number 2 WR and will get around 10 to 30 yards per game
