I have the #1 overall pick and Im planning on taking a stud RB, with my 2nd and 3rd picks, Im either gonna go for one of the following combos: RB & QB or RB & WR, or WR & QB or possibly RB & RB depending on who is available. Ive been trying to project which receivers will be there at the end of the second round and it looks like Moulds, Horn, Buriss, Hines Ward and Torry Holt are in there. How would you rank these guys? Right now I would lean towards: Horn, Moulds, Holt, Buriss, Ward in that order with Holt possibly taking Moulds' spot.
Who is more valuable one of these WR's or a RB like William Green, Curtis Martin, or Eddie George who will also likely be available to me in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Standard CBS.sportsline scoring system.
I'd put them in this order - Moulds, Holt, Horn, Ward, Burress. Essentially, like everybody else, this is just an educated guess. They are all really so close that I can't argue against any other order.
All of them are more valuable than the RB's you listed, who I put in this order - Curtis Martin, William Green, Eddie George. I really don't think Martin is done for just yet, he's got a couple good seasons left in him.
I agree its basically a toss up when choosing one of those receivers, Im leaning towards Horn because he is so consistent and has a slightly easier schedule than Moulds from what I can tell, plus playing in a proven offense and Stalworth progressing.
I was wondering about what Victor had said, that all those receivers had more value than taking someone like Green or CMart. If I take 2 WR's like Horn and Holt in the 2nd and 3rd you guys think its worth it if I have to start someone like Hambrick, Candidate or Doug Chapman who would likely be available in the 4th round.
What Im praying for is being able to snag Horn and Charlie Garner in the 2nd & 3rd, hopefully Koren Robinson and Gannon/Farve in the 4th & 5th. I think Id be stacked with that as my big starting 5 when you include either Ricky or LT with my #1 overall.
Off subject, what are your impressions of Duce Staley this year? He got off to a good start last year, think Buckhalter will take the job from him and/or last year was a fluke?

It's worth it only if Canidate is the man that you would have to start. I think he'll be a very good number 2 running back this season. Possibly better than Martin, W. Green, or George. You don't want to bank on Hambrick or Chapman, though.
About Duce Staley - I expect slightly lower production than last year. I can't see another 1,000 yard rushing season, but he's still a threat in the passing game.
