I need proof...not gonna know until TC and the pre-season.I think this is a make or break year for him and I think he breaks...or someone breaks him.He may start off OK but if the last 2 years are any kind of precursor,he gets hurt and/or the team falls into shambles...again.

COUGH!!! :~(

Brooks’ progress from shoulder surgery is right on schedule and the four-year veteran now is making every throw during practice without pain. Through diligent weight training and conditioning, Brooks has regained most of the strength in his right arm and is starting to throw long passes, the final stage of his rehab. He should be 100 percent for the start of training camp in late July and he needs to be because this is a big year in Brooks' development as a full-time starter. The offense is loaded with skill players and the line returns intact at four positions. Brooks' health and progress are the only major question marks for the unit that ranked among the league's best last season. (Jeff Duncan/TSN)

Because people keep asking, I reckon. It sounds like the Saints are absolutely confident about his condition, and he's taking snaps and throwing like normal - but questions still linger among the rest of us. For some people, nothing short of seeing him in action will prove it. I'm convinced, though.

I'm kinda hoping he's gone when I pick 12th in the first round of my 3-player keeper league (so its really the 4th round). If he's still on the board, I'll have a very tough decision to make.

I love the talent surrounded by him, but I'm not sold on Brooks either. The Colts were telling us that Edge was looking good in last year's off-season workouts too. Brooks still hasn't shown that he can put together an entire season and he also has the "?" about his injury, so there is a risk involved with drafting him, though the reward could turn out to be high. I would only draft him if he was around too late to pass on him. There are plenty of Qb's that I'd draft before him.

My interest in Brooks lies soley in the fact that I like Deuce McAllister. A healthy and consistent Brooks means a HUGE season for Deuce.

You can come up with a QB in the later rounds that will put up comparable numbers to Brooks, in my opinion, without paying so much. I'm staying away.
