In America - we'd call this a landfill.
Or the city dump.

This is the ugliest golf course I've ever seen.
Can't the British plant a tree or something?

LOL !!!

In fairness to the course, it is a links course and it prides itself on having stunning greens in the middle of rough terrain.

There are also really nice views of the English Channel and the white cliffs of dover (you may even see some bluebirds there too)

Those UK links courses are ugly but hell they are hard enough without any trees on them. The 12" rough and the 6' pot bunkers and the blowing winds and rain make a pretty killer coures as it is.

I was watching a bit this morning and I seen that Tiger was a whopping +4 after 15 holes.
