Please somebody, anybody tell me if he is hurt or what I missed. This son of a gun lost all carries to Duckett today. Duckett never ever has this many touches.

you know what sux for me 4 teams i have and in one i benched f taylor and droughns for atleast i started moore. Oh well in all 4 of my teams i have moore and droughns. I called the fred taylor breakout game too i said 100+ and a TD

How about I try it this way.

Does any one out there rely on Warrick Dunn in their fantasy league. If so, what are some thoughts on his performance today?

I think they stopped running Dunn because of San Diego's run D, they are ranked 6th or something like that....or he has some injury which they are not disclosing.

However, if you look at Atlanta's schedule from here on out, the highest ranked run D they play for the rest of the year is 18th with most of the teams ranked in the high 20s. I would give Dunn another week before you start panicking. Besides after the last two games his trade value is way down anyway.

Hey, I'm with you. I'm wondering what the heck happened. Luckily, I didn't start him (I had McAllister and Moore in there), but I didn't expect a clunker of a game like today from Dunn. It worries me for the future if the Vikings don't keep riding Moore as their #1 RB. I'm very surprised Dunn only had 5 carries and no catches. He usually makes some catches and had been getting a ton of carries.

there is no reported injury on Dunn.
Maybe they are trying to save him from any injury?
SD Def was hitting hard.

I've seen all the games, and the bottom line is Duckett has looked good. He was obviously in the dog house, but he's working his way out.

And the SD D was part of it. They wanted a bigger runner and wanted to pound it more.

Honestly Dunn was WAY WAY out performing his usual norm. He's not an elite back, he's been split duty for the last 4-5 years and obviously the Falcons aren't going to give him the ball 25-30 times a game. It just won't happen. He's been hurt like almost every game this year, he just can't handle the load.

Given those two facts its not surprising Duckett is getting some action. If I'd have to wager, I'd bet on split duty the rest of the way. And if any back is gonna get 20-25 carries, it's Duckett cause I can see Dunn missing some time. He's always limping in the 4th quarter.

Dunn is well suited for that offense, they have claimed it all year.

He has outperfomred his usual, but I think he will keep up somewhat.
