If he does one, he'll do the other.
And vice versa.
It's all up to Shanahan.

With Portis on a bye next week, and Denver going against Cincy, I think I will start him. So I'm hoping he does continue. He's now had three good games, hopefully that's a trend.

He's got the job. We wondered after last week, but he got the start. After THIS week, he's the starter, period. Unless he gets hurt, starts fumbling, we might see Q Tip. But he's fumlbed and had bad games, so it's not like his backup was on fire.
It looks like Denver found their 1000 yd rusher, and they will ride him for the rest of the year. He's the perfect back for what they want, he's very phsyical and explosive. He's been leading the league in kick return until he went to RB. So they're very high on him.

I did not see the game but my buddy told me he just looks straight up mean when he runs. My question is why wasn't Denver start the season with him?

Carolina = worst rush defense in the NFL
Oakland= not as bad, but not far behind
