It's the money. I'm telling ya.
This is exactly what you get when young kids
are instant gazillionairs and told by everyone
around them how great they are. Constantly.
Cuts across the lines. All sports today. But - the
NBA in particular.
I wish so bad we could just go back to the days
when a pro sports player made about the salary
of your average professional - engineer, doctor, lawyer.
And were damn glad to make that kind of money with,
essentially, a 5th grade education, for playing a game a few months a year.
BUT.
Those day are gone forever.
This is the way it is, and what you get.
For me? My heros are now Sandy Koufax. And the guys that get up every morning for 15 bucks and hour and support a family.
