ok...so how serious is the Clinton Portis situation...I thought he was my only definite keeper...no questions with him...he's mine...then I see he didn't show to the mini camps...and wants a new contract...and Shanahan says they can find someone else to rush for 1200-1500 yards...so what's up?...a bunch of nothing...or is there a chance that he's not going to get the ball like he did last year?
always looking for a league of owners who know what they are doing

You should thank the NFL for moving Seattle out of the AFC into the NFC.

Now Denver will only be 4th in the AFC West instead of 5th.

Seattle was nice, it was kinda like being in the AFC North with Cleveland... two easy wins a year. It's nice to see that the niners and rams will be able to use them as their own personal tackling dummies, though. And hey, now that they're in a division with the Cards, maybe they'll even win a couple.

Seriously, the nerve of a Seahawk fan talking trash about the priveledge of being dismissed from the toughest division in the NFL for being too weak... be grateful, worm, be grateful that the football gods took pity on you. If you doubt this, just watch this upcoming season, because I see you're slated to play all 4 of us.

By the way, to answer your question, the Portis question isn't even a question. He has too much respect for Shannahan to do anything. Besides, he knows that the Bronco O-line made him what he was last year, and unless he's stupid, he'd stick behind it for as long as possible. If he produces this year, Shannahan will talk turkey, but 1500 yard rushers are not an anomoly up here in The Mile High, which is ironically the most passer-friendly city around... except in the winter.

case in point.

we're playing the AFC NORTH this year precious. Not the AFC West. Might want to change that 2002 schedule to 2003.
