Buy low, but don't expect him to put up similar stats to last year. I think he's between 5-10 as far as WR's go, which equates out to a good WR, but he's somewhat inconsistent.
He's a "rookie" everyone ! He is playing with a bad team right now He is always coming from behind cuz their D is terrible
Palmer is a rookie?
Anyway, I echo Chopper's sentiments. Unless Kitna steps in or Palmer straightens himself out I don't think CJ will live up his fantasy potential. He didn't look stunning in the Cleveland game, all of that pepto trash talk never amounted to anything.

notice the "quotes" around rookie... he meant this is his first year taking a snap. If he wanted to emphasize rookie, he would have put it in CAPS, bold, or italics...
But yes, he'll improve, but not until late in the season.

Chad just needs to stop taliking smack and pulling stunts until he can deliver. Right now, his lips should be sealed.
I think as long as he doesn't send off any more Pepto Bismol to the guys who are going to be guarding him, he should put up better numbers as the season progresses.
Chad would benefit most by another WR contibuting something every week. Warrick or TJ need to step it up and then maybe he doesn't see all the double teams. I don't like Carson Palmer's chances when he throws into a double team against any receiver.

WR is a dependent position. Palmer is struggling right now, and that means Johnson will struggle too. I said it before the season that it is naive to think Palmer can come in and be as effective as a pro-bowler from a year ago (Kitna). The "Palmer has a stronger arm" argument is nonsense. Ryan Leaf had a cannon. You still need to adjust to the NFL, which Palmer clearly has not done.
The hope for fantasy owners of CJ is that Palmer learns at a faster rate. I think Palmer will eventually be a good QB, but this year he will be up and down. CJ will be too.
Dealt M. Bennett and Toomer for him, hopefully he can get his act together...
