I apologize if this belongs in waivers, but since it's a strange strategy idea I thought it might belong here. Kris Brown was dropped in my league due to his bye week. I have Jay Feeley, who has been dragging with the lackluster Falcons. My opponent this week has Dom Davis, David Carr, and Kevan Barlow, ALL on bye this week, so I don't expect him to be able to put up much of a fight. I am considering dropping Feeley for Brown and going kickerless this week! I am even considering using my #4 waiver priority to make sure this happens. (16 team league, so big drops are very unlikely). Am I crazy, or should I go for this?
My team:
QB - Leftwich, Garcia
RB - Edge, Pittman, Sammy Morris, Bennett
WR - J. Smith, Rod Smith, Toomer, Lloyd, McCardell, Stokley
TE - Gonzalez
K - Feeley
Def - St. Louis (doh!)
IDP - Barnett, Brooking, Archuleta, Farrior, Bulluck (for bye week)[/b]

What? How can you pick up Carr if he wasn't dropped?
Yeah you are assuming the guy you are playing drops Carr, unless I am misunderstanding you. Which by other posters, I am not.
If he has no chance to beat you, expect him to not drop Carr and just ride the horses he has against you instead of dropping his best players just since there are bye week implications.
DOH!!! Hehe, sorry for the confusion folks, didn't see my typos. I of course meant Jay feeley and I meant to say pick up Brown, not Carr. I'll edit the post now with the replacements in bold. Yeah. I m dum. Poker Fiend = n00b.
