I'm thinking of making a similar move. Put in a waiver wire for Brown that would have me drop Brees.

Thanks for the support Pappy. Actually, my league uses IDP, so the only points scored by team defense are based on fewest points allowed. St. Louis IS facing the pathetic dolphins, but even 14 pts out of the phins means I get only 1 pt, so maybe I'm better served dropping the Rams, then dropping feeley next week for a defense. Hmmm...yeah, I'm doin it!

This is a bad move.

You'll forfeit kicker's points this week for the chance that Kris Brown might outperform Feeley? Kickers are so inconsistent that it doesn't matter.

So what do you think of that last option I proposed? Forfeiting minimal defense points (probably 4 pts at most)? Kicker points are a bit inconsistent, but Brown has nearly twice as many as Feeley, and is on a team with better offense.

Whatever you do, I wouldn't use waiver priority on a kicker if you already have a kicker.
